Commuter Rewards
is a metro Atlanta program in partnership with The Clean Air Campaign. Commuter Rewards is the umbrella term for a suite of programs that reward commuters who carpool, ride transit, vanpool, telework, bicycle, or walk to work.

Click on each Commuter Rewards program for more details and to find out how to get started:

Cash for Commuters
Currently driving alone to work? Make a switch to a commute alternative and earn $3 per day, up to $180 over 90 days.

Commuter Prizes
Already using a clean commute alternative? Start tracking your efforts and earn a chance to win monthly Commuter Prizes of $25 and Spotlight Awards of $100. The more you log your clean commutes online, the greater your chances of winning.

Carpool Rewards
Currently carpooling or wanting to start? Carpools with three or more people can earn monthly $40 or $60 gas cards for up to 12 months.

FAQs

Q: Who can participate in Commuter Prizes?

A: Commuters must live or work in the 20-county metro Atlanta area (Barrow, Bartow, Carroll, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, Henry, Newton, Paulding, Rockdale, Spalding, or Walton County).

Q: How do I get started?

A: Create your online profile. Be sure to include your correct email address, as we will use it to notify you if you've won a Commuter Prize. You can log daily or weekly; the log form provides a six-day window for entering your past commutes.

Q: How many $25 gift cards are given out each month?

A: Presently, 1-in-20 Commuter Prizes participants win a $25 Visa gift card each month. Since winners are randomly drawn from the total clean commute logs received each month, a participant who uses a commute alternative and logs 20 commute trips per month is 20 times more likely to win than a person who commuted and logged just once. Increase your clean commuting and increase your chances of winning.

Q: How often are Spotlight Awards given and how do I win?

A: Spotlight Awards are $100 Visa gift cards awarded each month, usually to two or three participants. Spotlight Awards reward commuters who show their commitment to clean commuting by frequently logging their clean commutes online. Examples of the categories of Spotlight Awards are:

  • Best Reporter - Most commutes reported
  • Transit Champion - Most commutes by transit
  • Carpool Champion - Most commutes by carpool

Q: What if I want to participate, but can't find a carpool partner, or want to find a third or fourth person for my carpool?

A: Try 1-87-RIDEFIND. More than 10,000 potential carpoolers are in an online database just waiting to hear from you. To get an instant match list of potential carpoolers, visit www.187ridefind.com. Or call 1-87-RIDEFIND.
